15th Wharton India Economic Forum Mahindra Satyam participated in the 15th Wharton India Economic Forum, held on April 22, 2011 in Philadelphia, US

The Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF) is an annual student-run India-centric conference hosted by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, bringing together thought-leaders, professionals, faculty and students to discuss the opportunities that lie in India's way and the challenges that need to be addressed. Since its inception 15 years ago, WIEF has been the leading business forum focused on India in the United States.
The theme for this year's conference was "India: Gaining Momentum," and the focus was on bringing together prominent personalities and thought leaders to discuss how India continues to position itself to compete and succeed in the rapidly changing global environment. This event is a leading business forum for thought leaders, professionals, alumni, faculty and students to discuss the unprecedented opportunities that lie in India's way, and the challenges that need to be addressed to realize these opportunities.
C P Gurnani, CEO, Mahindra Satyam was be one of the panelists for 2011 edition of the event. He spoke on ‘Technology and Innovation: India’s Future Growth’. CP was accompanied by Sudhir Agarwal - President, Ageis Ltd; NV (Tiger) Tyagarajan – COO, Genpact; Bharat Goenka - Co-Founder and MD, Tally Solutions; and Vish Tadimety - Chairman and CEO, CyberTech Systems and Software Limited.
