Satyam’s A&D Unit to Participate in the Indian Regional Offset Conference (IROC)

Satyam’s Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Unit will participate in the Indian Regional Offset Conference (IROC), scheduled to take place from 13-14 of February 2008, at Hotel Intercontinental, New Delhi India. The theme of the event is to focus on the Indian procurement scene for the Defense sector along with the wider procurement environment and its future course of development. The event is being organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Global Offset & Countertrade Association (GOCA) and the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA).
At the event Pinaki Dasgupta, Global Head of Satyam’s Aerospace & Defense Unit, will showcase how Satyam has been actively involved in providing value to global Aerospace & Defense organizations, with the ever increasing complex assignments being entrusted to Satyam, and how Satyam perceives the ecosystem of the Defense sector with a focused approach to the emerging market needs of the Indian Defense sector.
The event will help the attendees enhance awareness of the practicalities of pursuing Ministry of Defense (MoD) business through offset fulfillment and the opportunities upcoming in the civil offset field.
