Mahindra Satyam appoints Kunihiko Higashi as Country Manager in Japan

| Tokyo, 8 September, 2010 – Mahindra Satyam, the new brand identity of Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (NYSE:SAY), a leading global consulting and IT services provider, has appointed Kunihiko Higashi as the Country Manager in Japan. |

| In his new role, Kunihiko Higashi will be responsible for spearheading the overall operations for Mahindra Satyam in Japan, including sales, marketing and professional services and support. He will drive the company’s revenue and market share growth through the implementation of aggressive sales and marketing strategies and building the company’s channel programs in this market. |

| Kunihiko brings with him over twenty five years of experience in the IT industry and has held several senior management positions at SSA, Computer Associates, Cisco Systems PeopleSoft, Cognos, Infor Global Solutions. He began his career with IBM and was involved in a joint venture business with Mitsubishi Corporation in order to expand their business partners. |
