  • Deal calls for Satyam to implement Temenos T24™, banking industry’s most robust system
Singapore, 25th April 2007 - Satyam Computer Services, Ltd. (NYSE: SAY), a leading global consulting and information technology services company, announced today that it has forged a strategic alliance with Temenos, a Switzerland-based provider of integrated core banking systems. The alliance calls for Satyam to implement T24, Temenos’s modular core banking system.

Satyam’s business and technology professionals, with significant expertise in the banking industry, will help banks around the world leverage T24 to manage operations more efficiently, increase flexibility, and enhance customer service.

This alliance enables Satyam to help Temenos implement and serve as systems integrator for T24, which is recognized as the world’s most technically advanced banking system,”said Peter Sweers, global banking head, Satyam. “We look forward to enabling banks to gain optimal value from robust Temenos products, and to ensuring that they can leverage the software to accommodate requirements well into the future.

This alliance, which will initially focus on the APAC region, will provide valuable support to our T24 installations,”said Mark Cullinane, chief operating officer, Temenos. “In particular, Satyam’s consultancy and project management expertise will help us continue to develop our T24 Model Bank offering, with its pre-configured processes to reduce implementation times and risk.
