Oracle Enterprise Applications @ Satyam
Satyam established a dedicated Enterprise Applications (EA) unit in 1996 to provide faster, better and cost-effective enterprise solutions for customers across the industries and geographies. Started as Oracle Applications Practice, the unit was quick to adapt new technologies and has been continuously adding new competencies. Presently, the EA Practice provides world-class solutions in Oracle eBusiness Suite, PeopleSoft applications, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne & World, Fusion Middleware and Fusion Applications. Satyam also has well-established competencies in many of the acquired applications such as Siebel, G-Log, Hyperion, Agile etc.
With the single pursuit of accelerating its customers’ journey in transformation path, the Enterprise Applications Practice has built deep competencies around functional areas such as Financials, HRMS, Manufacturing, SCM and CRM, technology layers and industry verticals. We have been closely aligned with the technology roadmap of Oracle and building new competencies as Oracle continued its acquisition spree. Today, we have competencies in most of the Oracle Acquired Applications; some of the competencies are existing in Satyam even before Oracle’s acquisition. Winning of the ‘Partner of the Year 2007 Award for Acquired Applications’ from Oracle stands testimony to our strong competency of building and faster technology adaptation.
