North Star Statement

Satyam aims to have 10 percent of the population in its adopted cities score higher than 80 percent on the Environment Sensitivity Index by March 2009.

Environment - Challenging issues

• Land, water, and air constitute vital elements of the earth.
• Urban development factors that aggravate climate change include energy consumption, emissions, pollution, and heat concentration.
• Traffic, transportation, green spaces, energy, water, and waste management are the challenging issues affecting the environment.

Major activities undertaken include:

• Plantation in neighborhoods and institutions
• Plantation in Satyam facilities and Associates – Hyderabad

Large numbers of our Associates participated in the vanamahotsavs in Tarnaka and Trimulgherry, and other communities where Associates reside.
